Now Appearing As...

  I am here to revive Life In The Pink Tower with a new name, School In A Pink House.  This is where I will be sharing our adventures as we educate our children.  There are many homeschool labels out there and we are a living contradiction to even the closest fitting.  We are Christ followers, although I do not use Christian based curriculum (we use no curriculum) nor do we choose to be a part of any faith based homeschooling groups.   Montessori runs deep in our parenting, although the application may not be what you would expect.   I often use the term "unschool" to describe our style of schooling because it comes closest- but we are not afraid to take advantage of public school when it serves us best.  I believe my toddler is learning every moment and prepare our home accordingly, yet I choose not to use the term 'homeschooling' as applied to children under school age.
