Building Bridges

Here is a project we did last year.  It was huge!  An overpass was being constructed near our house.  (There were days we could feel it shaking the foundation.)  From the ground breaking we began lurking about the construction site, observing and taking pictures, until the completion.  (nearly a year) Pearl wrote a letter to one of the engineers.  She graciously responded with a letter and several bridge building resources.  This all culminated in ribbon cutting ceremony.  An event where we met the engineers and heard several city and state officials speak.
