An Adventful December

I am not a lover of labels.  Labels make me feel claustrophobic, and as soon as one is applied to me I want to take it off.  So, it is with some hesitation that I tell you December finds us closer to being unschoolers than ever.  We finally withdrew the girls from their 2 day a week classes through our school districts homeschool program.  (oxymoron!)  What are we replacing it with?  Nothing.  Eventually we may pick up some math and language arts workbooks, but not now.  Right now we are enveloped in Christmas.  For us December will forever be a time to put everything down and enjoy the season of Advent.
