Little Questions

I picked this up over at 'you know what mama'.  Her questions, my answers.
Enjoy and play along!

“This week we want to…”  Get through the girls dance performance and rehearsals.

“The kids are…” At this very moment building a gingerbread city.  It includes the houses they built with graham crackers, nativity scene, princesses, train, animals and a circus.

“I am learning….” To trust myself more and rely on validation from others less.  (I often wonder if blogging is a way to fill that need?)

“I am struggling with…”  Time management. It seems we "waste" a lot of time.  One way I tried to battle this is deleting my Facebook account.  We'll see how that goes.

“This week is the first time….”  We haven't had outside classes scheduled. We are slowly and purposefully letting go of all the "have to's".
“I am grateful…”  For having the to manage without many outside demands.  I am not a fan of schedules.  I actually hate them.

"The best homeschooly Christmas stuff we've read, watched, done or plan to do...."  Is totally letting go of anything "homeschooly" and enjoying ourselves with out justifying it.  (i.e. explaining the science and math needed to build gingerbread houses.)  Trusting the process rather than dissecting it.

You too can join the 'Intensive Care for the Christian Unschooler'– this will be a weekly meme here.
